Cada cone/Each cone: 150 g / 548 m / 600 yds / 5 oz

Total: 1 cone = 150 g / 548 m / 600 yds / 5 oz

Outra informação/ Other info:

Tensão/Gauge: 20-24 sts*.. rows = 10*10 cm = 4"*4"
Agulha/Needle: US 5-6, 3.75-4 mm, old UK 9-8, US Crochet hook size D/3
Cuidados/Care: Do vendedor/ From the seller: "This yarn is supplied still oiled for industrial knitting, and needs to be washed to "bloom". The technician recommended garment wash method is 5 mins on the wool wash program of a washing machine, or of course hand washing is fine - many customers say a full machine wash and tumble dry works well for them... This wash should be carried out after knitting or weaving, which gives a tighter and harder wearing overall result (but trial swatches should be washed to see the final expected result of course)."

Origem/From:
Colourmart UK (eBay).

Para fazer/ To knit: Planeio fazer uma echarpe clássica, para me durar uns bons anos, talvez com algum jogo de texturas ou rendados, ainda não decidi. / I want to knit a classic stole, to use for a good amount of years, maybe with textures (cables?) or lace, I have not decided yet.

As they warn, the yarn comes coned and oiled, and so it feels a little stringy, but already very soft. I ordered a Free sample pack (you pay just the postal costs) and they sent me a mini-skein already washed so that I could feel the difference. After it is washed the yarn is amazingly softer to touch. It is very light!

Nas palavras do vendedor / The seller said: We twisted this yarn ourselves starting with 4 strands of top quality Scottish-spun cashmere weaving yarn. The high twist plies mean that the final yarn is tighter too, which also means it will wear well but bloom a bit less than our softer spun yarns. Perhaps not the best first purchase of our yarns, but if you want stunning colours and yarn that will keep softening with wear, this is for you!

This yarn is a 4 ply yarn, 4/14NM, and will knit similarly to the dk weight yarns described in the table comparing the knit properties of most of our yarns here. This yarn is twisted up by us from 4 strands of the appropriate 70T (1/14NM) weaving singles laceweight yarn, to a twist level which balances out any twist in the singles. Because the weaving yarns start off high twist, they give a well twisted final balanced yarn.

dk: NM (or Tex)4/14 (or 140/140 Tex)
